The wallpaper is slightly textured and has a matte finish. It is a sustainable option made from PVC-free paper and eco-friendly ink that’s safe for people and won’t harm the environment. The wallpaper comes in three sizes and eight colors including combinations like mint navy and orange pink.

To clean it, just wipe dirt and grime off it with a damp cloth. Be aware that shipping times are lengthy, taking between two to four weeks on average. Unfortunately, there are no returns or refunds.

If you don’t want to play it safe with florals or stripes, we suggest this denim patch wallpaper from Wallshoppe. The Lafayette Patchwork is bold and funky, and a great option for remodeling your space.

It comes in four colors and three sizes ranging from 26 inches by 4.5 feet to 26 inches by 12 feet. But if you’re not sure which one will match best, you can order a sample swatch to try out on your wall.

What’s nice about this print is that it comes with an extra ¼ inch length on all sides which protects it while shipping and is also a buffer for any mistake you make while cutting it. However, you can’t get it in a custom size.

There are instructional videos on its website to help you install it properly. Be aware that shipping times are typically slow: Orders take two to three weeks to be shipped. But, if you want it faster, you can pay 50% extra and it will be at your address in five to seven days.

It’s sold at a bargain price of $0.62 per square foot, making it possible to redo any room or line the inside of cabinets, drawers, or bookshelves on a tight budget. Besides white and gold, it is available in beige and gold, black and gold, white and silver designs. However, samples aren’t available.

If you are looking for a zingy peel-and-stick wallpaper, the Chasing Paper Botany is at the top of our list. Although it is costly, it’s low VOC and PVC and comes with a beautiful design. Those on a budget will like the Better Homes and Gardens Neutral Boho Filigree Peel and Stick Wallpaper. Not only is it cheap, it comes in three neutral colors to accent any room in your home.

According to Ledet, the most common peel-and-stick wallpaper sizes are 48 inches, 96 inches, 108 inches, and 120 inches. However, there are premium brands that offer custom sizing.

In addition, many wallpaper brands and retailers like Home Depot have online calculators where you enter your room’s measurements to find out how many rolls you need for your project.

Just like regular wallpaper, peel-and-stick wallpapers come in a range of solid colors, florals, stripes, geometric designs, and patterns. What’s right for your space depends on the look you’re aiming for in your room. “Deciding between patterns and colors is all about going with your instinct, and what resonates with you,” says Kime. “I love to use print and color, personally.”

Most peel-and-stick wallpapers are made from vinyl, but there are options made from polyester fabric, sustainable materials, and paper. All peel-and-stick wallpapers have a self-adhesive backing that can be peeled back before sticking it on the wall. There are also sustainable materials available made from PVC-free paper, recycled material, and eco-friendly inks.

To calculate how much wallpaper you need, take the width of the wall (in inches) and divide it by the width of the roll of wallpaper. If your wall is 120 inches wide and the wallpaper you're ordering is 20 inches wide, then you'll take 120 inches and divide it by 20 inches, which is six. So you'll order six rolls of wallpaper. And to make sure you don’t run short, Kime says you should give yourself ¼ inch extra all around to work with.

According to our experts, quality peel-and-stick wallpaper typically lasts for up to five years or longer, depending on the surface where it’s installed and techniques used to stick it to your wall.

While it could get wet because you’re cleaning it with a damp cloth or some water splashes on it, you don’t want to drench it often if you want to keep it in prime condition.

Kime advises shoppers that it also might not be a good idea to place peel-and-stick wallpaper directly near a water source like a shower to avoid damage and mold.
